1990 Founding of the Franz Holzer engineering office
1993 Service portfolio expansion with the start-up of a machine construction workshop
1995 Construction of a new factory building in Herbrechtingen-Bolheim. Our service range is enlarged considerably with major OSRAM orders regarding lamp finishing and final inspections
1997 HOLZER now has 27 staff members – construction of a second production hall
2000 Development and construction of a highly efficient plant for signal lamp sorting and packaging. HOLZER employees and now also trains additional staff
2003 The founding of HOLZER Slovakia s.r.o. in Nové Zámky creates additional capacities in the individual production and service department for our customers. This means: even shorter response and delivery times, as well as the highest level of adherence to delivery dates.

2007 to 2012 Lamp inspection for OSRAM using pressure chambers
2008 The assignment from OSRAM to develop and manufacture an assembly plant for spotlight lamps, and to assemble the products at HOLZER, required a fifth factory hall
  Presentation of the packaging machine CELINE (now known as the “HOLZER VP-08”) at the FACHPACK trade fair together with Carl Edelmann GmbH
2012 Generation change at HOLZER: Franz Holzer hands over general management to his oldest son, Olaf Holzer
  HOLZER takes over the production department “Collection Systems” for injection-moulding machines from RW Beier GmbH in Köngen. The service department is enlarged by the assembly and testing of valve inserts and the assembly of tube extensions
  A technical product designer, a mechatronics engineer, a cutting machine operator and two DHBW students in mechanical engineering start their training
2013 HOLZER starts an extensive staff development programme. Staff members increase their responsibility and decision-making competence
2016 Development of the “Strategic Sales and Marketing” department to intensify customer support. A CRM system is implemented in this connection.
2017 Development of the HOLZER TECHNOLOGY CENTRE (HTC) for the development of assembly and testing automation and for the implementation of process tests for our customers
  Initial participation in the international trade fair for production and assembly automation, Motek, in Stuttgart
2018 The executive management is augmented by Thomas Bassmann
2020 Holzer starts refining products for the cosmetics industry
